Data aggregation is basic operation in wireless sensor networks.In many applications,one important goal is to reduce data aggregation latency.On the other hand,a major challenge for wireless sensor networks is energy shortage,therefore,energy consumption reduction is an issue that need to be solved.This thesis focuses on research on network data aggregation and data aggregation scheduling.There exists the disadvantage of energy constraints in wireless sensor networks,and in-network data aggregation technology can tackle this problem by reducing the amount of data transmitted,thus effectively reducing energy consumption.However,since most data aggregation within the network adopts proactive routing protocols,it is impossible to establish data aggregation structure according to dynamic events.In order to resolve this problem,IDADCR(In-network Data Aggregation based on Dynamic Clustering Routing)is proposed here.The algorithm takes into account the following three factors: the distance between nodes and the Sink node,node density and residual energy of nodes,and it makes cluster-head selection and then realizes intra-cluster data aggregation.To achieve inter-cluster data aggregation,the thesis proposes an improved shortest path tree by introducing the concept of aggregation distance.The results indicate that the algorithm can effectively reduce the amount of data transmission in dynamic network environment and realize network data aggregation.Recently,data-aggregation scheduling with no conflict and low latency is applied in many applications such as real-time monitoring.Data aggregation delay is a key indicator.Duty cycle technology,namely,the communication and sensing functions to periodically turn on and off the nodes,will significantly reduce the activity and the energy consumption of the sensor nodes,and will extend the sensor network lifetime.In this thesis,a cross-layer data aggregation scheduling algorithm,LDAS(Low-Latency Data Aggregation Scheduling in Duty-Cycled Wireless Sensor Network),is proposed to generate conflict-free,low-latency data aggregation scheduling.The results of the experiments demonstrate that the performance of the scheduling algorithm is superior to the existing ones.
