Attribute-based Encryption System Based On Hadoop

Big data has become a heated topic during recent years,along with the fast development of cloud computing technologies,leading to an increasingly number of enterprises paying great attention to huge amount of data,which brings tremendous benefits if effectively stored.As a result,how to store big data to analyze them,filter them and acquire useful information from them in order to get profit from big data has become an urgent concern to enterprises.However,traditional data storing technologies are limited by some disadvantages such as higher cost with more storage space,which makes them unable to meet the requirement,resulting in researches on cloud storage.And Hadoop is one extraordinary achievement of these researches.It is used to store data in distributed servers,which solves the problem of storing big data.But confidential and sensitive data stored in cloud are facing the risks of illegal data leakage and unsecure access.Besides,the technology of attribute based encryption(ABE)is capable of controlling access to data.That is to say,ABE can be decrypted under the circumstance that only the visitors with the right attributes can have access to data,bringing security to them,which is totally different from conventional public-key encryption.As a consequence,a combination of Hadoop and ABE can meet the requirement of storing data in cloud safely.This paper is aimed to study on Attribute-based Encryption System Based on Hadoop and to meet the request of secure access of data stored on Hadoop,which traditional methods with easy access structures aren't able to reach.In this paper,a hierarchical attribute based encryption supporting attributes-revoking is proposed and is used to apply to Hadoop to realize access control of data stored in cloud with some functions developed in Hadoop.This improved method can make contributions to illegal access prevention,and computing and secure analysis of the algorithm is provided here as well.At last,an Attribute based encryption system based on Hadoop is designed,implemented and tested in this paper.Also,descriptions of general system design,database design,network design and full explanations of all the sub-systems are provided.W hat's more,details of main functional modules of the two sub system(cloud sub-sys and user sub-sys)can be found in this paper.The test results show that the system put forward here has the capability of satisfying the needs of secure access to data stored in Hadoop and is able to be used in reality.
