With the rapid development of information age,image,as one of the manifestations of information,becomes more popular in ordinary daily life.At the same time,secure storage and confidential transmission of images has become more and more important.Therefore,digital image watermarking and encryption technologies,which can realize image authentication and copyright protection,have become one of the research hotspots in the field of images.Firstly,a digital watermarking technique based on image decomposition is proposed.Unlike the least significant bit(LSB)algorithm,our scheme does not randomly select the image pixel as the watermark embedding position.In this scheme,we filter some of the largest pixels in the vector image,and then embed the watermark information at these specific positions,which makes the signal-to-noise ratio of the watermarked image greatly improved.In addition,we apply the scheme to gray-scale images,color images and Quick Response Code-based images and we analyze the feasibility and security of the technology.Secondly,an image encryption scheme based on path password protocol is proposed.Two methods of obtaining random number using path password protocol are designed,which can be used as the encryption key to spread the pixel value.We test the scheme using various images.The scheme can avoid the uncertainty and complicated operation for higher security,such as that in high-dimensional chaotic system.Further,it can realize the personalization of encryption key and improve the security of image encryption.In summary,the above researches provide a novel watermark embedding scheme and a novel image encryption scheme.The corresponding algorithms are easy to implement.At the same time,they can improve the image confidentiality.
