The Case Reports Of All Ceramic Restorations Via Chair-side CAD/CAM

Objectives: This report discussed the five clinical cases based on the chair-side CAD/CAM system,including three cases of posterior tooth restored by pin-endo-crown and endo-crown,then two cases of anterior tooth all-ceramic restoration.And observed the short-term clinical effect of restorations.Methods: On the basis of mastering oral clinical theory knowledge,review of relevant literature both at home and abroad,oral clinical and radiological examinations were carried out on this kinds of cases.Making comprehensive analysis and diagnosis,according patients' age,oral situation,subjective desire and economic conditions to making the final treatment plan.Moreover communicating with patiens by chair-side CAD/CAM system to show the visual restoration effect.Using the American public health association of the revised standard to evaluate the clinical effect of restoration.All the patients were followed up.Results: Based on the chair-side CAD/CAM system,decayed teeth could recover good anatomical shape,realistic appearance,tight teeth proximal contact,qualified marginal fitness and high retentive force.The short-term clinical effect was well acceptable.Conclusions: Pin-endo-crown can be used for a wide scope of tooth defect.Endo-crown it is using the dental pulp cavity increase retention,at the same time also can obtain good edge stability.Using lithium disilicate reinforced ceramics to restore the anterior tooth defect can achieve perfect aesthetic effect.Chair-side CAD/CAM system is a feasible,efficient and good prognosis approach for decayed teeth.And it can provide visual communication with patients,become the important link between dentist,patient and dental technician.
