In recent years, with the development of mobile Internet, positioning and navigation technology in modern society play an increasingly important role in people's daily life and work, which has been inseparable from the positioning of the service. The indoor navigation include wireless local area network(WLAN),ultra-wideband radio(UWB),bluetooth and other indoor positioning program, these facilities based on indoor and outdoor positioning program have high accuracy and reliability. However, this type of indoor positioning program requires a large number of mapping work in the target area and fix up the reference positioning beacon. The whole system relies heavily on reference beacons, which are proportional to the overall system cost and service area when applied over a wide range. At present, the widely used GPS positioning and navigation system has high precision and wide coverage, but there are shortcomings in which satellite signals are easily blocked. Therefore, navigation services can not be provided in the indoor areas where satellite signals are blocked. The positioning technology based on motion sensing has the advantages of being free from environmental constraints, using flexibility and good positioning robustness. It has important theoretical and practical significance to better deal with the positioning and navigation tasks in various complex environments, such as military operations, daily indoor navigation and so on.In this paper,a step size estimation model based on gait recognition is proposed for the situation that the step size estimation based on motion sensing is not suitable for the mixed gait.Firstly, the model is established by clustering analysis. Then, the model data is updated by real-time recognition, and the gait recognition model is personalized to improve the accuracy of gait recognition. Finally, the corresponding step parameters are selected by the results of gait recognition, and the dynamic step size estimation model is dynamically applied to the mixed gait to improve the accuracy of indoor positioning. On the basis of studying the step size estimation based on gait recognition, this paper designs and realizes the indoor positioning system based on motion sensing.By adding the gait recognition module in the positioning system, the step size estimation model can automatically adapt to the mixed gait, improve the accuracy of the step size estimation, and ultimately improve the accuracy of system positioning. The experimental results show that the positioning results based on motion sensing are better after the gait recognition module is added, and the feasibility of the step size estimation based on gait recognition is improved.
