With the rapid development of the Internet,data and information for enterprises or individuals,is an important intangible assets.How to protect the security of data has become a hot research issue.In addition,with the opening of the contemporary era of large data,data information is often rapid growth,how to efficiently and quickly synchronize the host system data in real-time preparation machine system to achieve rapid recovery and switching of business system data to ensure data Zero loss,prevention of unpredictable catastrophes or equipment failures resulting in loss of data or unavailable.At the same time,due to the relatively large amount of data,resulting in low efficiency of data backup and will consume a lot of network bandwidth resources,we should also consider how to improve the efficiency of data backup and reduce the amount of data transmission network to improve data backup performance and reduce network bandwidth resource consumption.In order to improve the performance of data backup and reduce the consumption of network bandwidth resources,an incremental data backup scheme based on rsync algorithm is proposed in this paper,which is based on the demand of data backup in practical application system.The main contents of this paper are as follows: expatiate and analyze the technical scheme of data backup at home and abroad,as well as research status and demand,research the theory of data backup technology,analyze the implementation of rsync algorithm,in some cases,rsync algorithm is inefficient,Rsync algorithm is analyzed and compared with the fixed and non-fixed-length block data blocks of the two data block algorithm to determine the fixed block into a variable-length block data block mode;and based on improved rsync algorithm design Real-time monitoring of the specified data backup directory under the updated file changes to achieve real-time automatic backup data to meet the real-time nature of the data backup system to achieve a set of incremental methods;combined with Inotify real-time monitoring file technology.Finally,the factors that affect the efficiency of the incremental data backup system are tested and analyzed by experiments and application examples.For the method of using variable length block,it proves that this method can effectively reduce the transmission of network data and save network bandwidth resources.And the data backup system is applied to the ceph distributed file storage system and based on openstack cloud platform virtual machine instance recovery backup,and achieved good results.Based on the experimental results of recovery time based on openstack virtual machine instance,the least squares curve fitting method is used to establish the model of virtual machine recovery time and validate the validity and reliability of the model.
