With the rapid development of radar technology and the expanding application,the application of the warning radar has extended from the war to the security.According to the application demand,we discussed the design technology of the warning radar for key area(WRKA).The key technologies and units of radar system are analyzed,and the feasibility of the detection methods is validated by prototypical experiments.The contents and achievements of this dissertation are as follows:1.The system design of the warning radar for key area is studied.According to the application demand,the scheme of combining the linear frequency modulated continuous wave(LFMCW)and the digital beam forming technique(DBF)is adopted.Then,the realization structure and usage requirement were presented,and the working principle and flow are described.As a conclusion,the overall technical index and system parameters of WRKA are presented.2.The plan of the system and the key units of the WRKA is proposed.In system design,a single-unit antenna is applied to realize the wide beam radiation for the transmitter;while for the receiver,based on a linear array antenna,the DBF is applied to realize narrow beam.DDS combing the frequency-conversion is applied for the RF unit.Furthermore,the Dechirp modulation is applied in the receiver to reduce the realization difficulty and system cost.After the output signal of the IF unit is sampling directly,the sampling signal is converted into the baseband signal through the digital down frequency conversion.The digital signal processing and display are conducted by the computer terminal.This benefits the system simplification and task planning.3.Based on the micro-Doppler effect,the moving-target feature extraction is studied.Some prototypical experiments are conducted using existing radar system.In these experiments,the feature extraction and classification of human and vehicles were studied,and the feasibility of target recognition and classification were validly demonstrated.
