Research On Optimal Search Resource Management For Phased Array Radar | | Posted on:2016-06-26 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Q H Wu | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2348330536467619 | Subject:Information and Communication Engineering | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Phased array radar can control of every single array element through electronic way,thus it gets the advantage of faster beam transform and more flexible beam pointing,which makes it satisfy the requirement of multitasks such as space surveillance and targets tracking.Resource management is the key to accomplishing multitasks for phased array radar through optimal radar resource allocation.Search resource management is an important factor of radar resource management,which makes it possible to detect and track targets through corresponding optimization.Therefore,conducting researches of search resource management optimization is of great significance.In actual warfare,search task can be separated into two types from the angle of with or without cuing information.Thus this research is divided into two parts correspondingly,one is the optimal autonomous search and the other is optimal guided search.The main research is as follows:In terms of autonomous search,the research is conducted from the angles of single area and multi-area search separately.Firstly the optimization is studied based on the expected discovering range.Without the support of cuing information,autonomous search will face whole space surveillance,in which the convent detection range is limited.Considering this the expected discovering range is defined.Further towards single area search the dwell time is optimized combining the missile detecting module.On this basis the multi-area search is studied with the optimization module of weighed expected discovering range.Multi-area search is the typical strategy when facing aerodynamic targets.In multi-area search the expected discovering range is adjusted further by building the module of weighed expected discovering range considering the sub-volume weight coefficient.Then by adjusting the search frame time and the search load jointly,a better search performance is achieved.Further when the search resource is limited an adaptive search load allocation strategy is raised.In term of guided search,the research is conducted from the angles of average detection probability and average discovering time separately.Firstly with the cuing information the search area is determined and the target appearance probability of every beam position is got.Then by analyzing the optimal module based on average detection probability,the optimal search data rate is got,by introducing the cost factor the search data rate is revised,then the corresponding optimal search order algorithm is analyzed.Lastly,based on the minimum target discovering time the optimal search is further analyzed.Separately considering the single-target penetration and multi-targets penetration,the search data rate and resource allocation are optimized,which promote the radar performance. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Phased array radar, Optimal search resource management, Autonomous search, Guided search, Average detection probability, Average discovering time, Optimal search order | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
