Workpiece detecting is the absolutely necessary management means to ensure product quality,otherwise,the traditional detection method is inefficient and the measurement result is susceptible to the subjective factors.It is only suitable for the sampling inspection of the product,which can not guarantee the quality of all the products.However,it is efficiency and good timeliness to use the method of image processing technology to detect the workpiece,which is especially applicable to the mass production mode.Therefore,it is of great significance to carry out the research of part detection method based on image processing technology.Based on the image processing technology,circular parts are selected as the research object in this article,and the radius and concentricity of the ring parts are tested.The accuracy of this method is verified by comparing the results of image detection with the measured results.The main work of this article includes the following aspects.The designing and construction of the experimental platform are completed,and the camera is calibrated by the method of reference calibration,which realizes the conversion between the image size and the physical size of the parts.The image preprocessing methods,including image filtering,threshold segmentation and edge detection,are compared and analyzed in detail in this article.According to the actual characteristics of part images and the programming test,the preprocessing scheme suitable for the parts image is determined.For the situation that the low accuracy of circular hole recognition in image processing,a method of Optimized-Gradient Hough Transform for circle recognition is summarized.On the basis of Gradient Hough Transform,this method introduces the conception of coincidence degree.By calculating and sorting the coincidence degree between the rounds recognized and the edge in source image,the character circle we need is reasonable selected.Through the programming test results,we found that the method improves the stability of the center of the circle and the accuracy of circular recognition.The measurement experiment of the ring sample is completed and the reason of the detection error is analyzed.By comparing the measured value with the actual value,it is proved that the effectiveness of the method in detecting the ring parts.With the development of image measurement technology and the improvement of measurement method,this method is expected to be used for real-time online and efficient non-contact detection of workpieces in the actual production process.
