Network testing is to ensure that the entire network system equipment and functions and the means of running the state.In network testing,traffic generation is a critical technology,the correctness of the results of the degree of error are determined by this.Network technology continues to evolve,with each passing day,network data exchange rate is faster and faster,the accuracy of the increasingly high demand,traffic is growing,for a 10 Gigabit network,the existing test methods are difficult to meet need.Therefore,in the face of the new needs of the new situation,the study of 10 Gigabit network as the representative of the high-speed network test method is very urgent and necessary.In the network test,the flow can be derived from the playback,the real flow is based on continuous playback history to capture some of the data to achieve;the same time,you can also simulate the flow,this is not true,but according to statistics The characteristics of the independent imitation of some traffic.The two methods are not very sure of the merits of the points,but in some given conditions,a party will have an advantage.In this paper,two methods are widely used in this paper.The two schemes are modified and improved based on FPGA.The detailed description is as follows:1,according to the existing playback program,adding hardware factors,the formation of hardware and software linkage program.The solution of the theory to solve the 10 Gigabit network as the representative of the high-speed network traffic generation problem.This method will play back the file size to the GB level,the existing method is only 64 MB,which depends on the combination of FPGA and host storage advantages.In order to improve the underlying data transmission speed,the use of polling way,and the use of mapping to optimize memory access.At the same time from the new design of the transmission engine to achieve the network and host local data exchange rate of 16 Gbps.In addition,combined with the characteristics of random access to the hard disk and host memory,but also designed several new playback: no copy of the use of static buffer playback,random access hard disk based on high-speed GB-level playback mode and has reached the TB level for the hard disk The vulgar playback.The optimization of the memory makes the data copy with nearly 70%performance improvement.In the error control,the use of FPGA design based on the token scheme,greatly improve the accuracy,the relative error of not more than 10E-5.2,combined with the characteristics of hardware to improve the flow simulation method,the first analysis of the characteristics of the data in the network,according to the unique function of each component,and ultimately the formation of a symbol of the characteristics of the sequence of components,and finally according to the existing feature sequence,FPGA simulation generates traffic data.And the design of the user-friendly excuse,the flow of the configuration according to the specific dynamic and static characterization to determine.Users can autonomously configure the data headers with no more than 256 bytes of packet format based on various networkprotocols.The related test results show that this scheme can run correctly and realize the expected function of simulating the traffic data of 10 gbps network.
