APP application icon design is an important element in the design of mobile phone APP,which determines whether the user downloads the first visual element of the APP.It is called the "brand" and "gateway" of the brand vision".APP rapid iteration of the commercialization era,APP application icon design,how to better optimize APP visual symbols,and promote brand design and dissemination,worth deep study.APP application icon is visual and functional entrance application software,Download APP application icon visual effect can be alluding to the brand of software,and even can lead to the platform owner directly rejected release of the APP,so that the brand culture from the perspective of design and communication on the APP application icon for research,is very urgent and absolutely feasible.From the present point of view,there is a big problem in icon design of APP applications from the perspective of brand culture.On the one hand,in the flat style of big wave,APP symbol selection and color application icon application design is too casual,serious lack of unique artistic aesthetic and brand property;on the other hand,the APP application icon design largely ignores the importance of the perspective of brand culture design and communication,reduce the customer the effect of brand loyalty,it is difficult to continue.Therefore,in order to solve the APP application icon in design and communication problems,based on the semiology of graphics and brand communication as the theoretical support,research status,application and dissemination of APP icon design and development in the research significance,form,and further from the theoretical and practical significance to study the value of.The main part of the text,with time as the axis,from the origin,formation and development of the APP application icon,analyze to the APP application icon of visual elements and cognitive elements,and classification of the APP application icon design from the artistic style and visual performance in detail.On this basis,from the perspective of APP application icons,semiotics and communication,we have some ideas about the symbol selection of APP application icons and the user's cognitive psychology.Summed up the APP application icon design strategy to guide the design,allowing users to quickly and accurately understand its meaning,and better allow users to accept the information conveyed.The main innovation of this paper is: put forward the steps to build the APP application icon and differentiation,consistency,cultural design strategy,visual texture more prominent brand culture from the perspective of characteristics,highlights the significance of the visual elements of brand,brand out of the homogenization phenomenon,a significant increase in the brand.Taking the "mood Taihang" APP icon design as an example,analysis of the "artistic conception of Taihang" APP specific strategy,design and implementation of the design thought of three steps,and made a specific design of the APP icon,breakthrough age,culture level,regional level constraint on the vision,highlighting the dissemination of information,better quality of communication from theperspective of brand culture connotation.
