With the progress of technology,the demands and application of the image as a visual,direct information on the motion carrier become more and more,but in the actual operation process,in the course of movement,the shooting device of the motion carrier will appear image jitter and unstable phenomenon caused by the mechanical vibration of carrier itself or natural environment and other factors,so the image stabilization technology came into being,in which the research of electronic image stabilization technology become more and more.Electronic image stabilization refers to the method of digital image processing to achieve the image jitter estimation and compensation,so that the image remains stable.In this paper,the algorithm of electronic image stabilization is studied in order to balance the accuracy of image stabilization and the fastness of image stabilization.In this paper,firstly based on the imaging model of the cameral,the relationship between spatial coordinates and image coordinates is deduced,then the image motion model is obtained.The basic principle of electronic image stabilization is described.The three aspects of electronic image stabilization are introduced: motion estimation,motion filtering and motion compensation.The evaluation method of electronic image stabilization is given.Then the common motion estimation algorithms are studied and analyzed: block matching method,gray scale projection method,bit plane method,feature matching method,optical flow method,motion filtering algorithm are studied and analyzed:mean filtering method,Kalman filter method,curve fitting method.The characteristics of block matching fit more perfectly the purpose of this subject,so then study the search strategy of block matching method of in detail,Including full search method,three-step search method,four-step search method,diamond search method and hexagonal search method.Finally,this paper proposes an electronic stabilization system based on block matching,select better performance hexagon search,and to achieve improvement.In addition,the Kalman filter only needs the information of the previous time,and there are many applications in the real-time sysytem.Therefore,Kalman filter is used in this paper.In the MATLAB environment,the image stabilization algorithm of the above process is achieved,and the video images were processed by the method,the experimental results show that the algorithm has a good stabilization effect.
