In the paper we introduce an stabilization algorithm based on block-matching, which can be used for global motion estimation and compensation in EIS system. It derives from traditional algorithm of global search and keeps the merit of high precision, in addition it cuts the operation time. It is satisfying in experiment that the mentioned algorithm is resultful in electronic image stabilization.According to the factual conditions, we change the imitated and penetrate model to x-y coordinate model. First, searching and comparing the algorithms in common use, then the global block-search algorithm is used in the estimation of movement vector between frames. Enactment of threshold and search-order shorten the calculation time. Secondly, two algorithms of equalization were introduced. These two algorithms are contrail-average algorithm and error-addition algorithm, respectively. Lastly, the software imitation did by MATLAB validate the feasibility of the academic, editing and debugging program by VC++6.0, comparing the different results of the two algorithms. Also, there are detailed expatiation about the matters arisen through out the programming and settlements in the paper.
