Design And Implementation Of Course Management System Based On Android

With the rapid development of mobile internet technology nowadays,more and more people is using mobile phones instead of computers to deal with the daily work.New information management technology enables us to access and handle our work anytime or anywhere conveniently.Especially schools and universities,as the base to foster national talents,need to keep pace with the times and introduce new technology.At present,many colleges and universities have established their own characteristic digital campus and useful campus APPs.Whereas,the broadly vocational education has been forgotten in the corner,especially in the secondary vocational education,the popular digital is not feasible.Few course management systems are designed for the secondary vocational school delicately.Therefore,the secondary vocational schools urgently need a course management system with their own characteristics to meet the needs for the courses.This is also the original intention to design and develop this new course management system.Based on previous course practice in Zhanjiang electromechanical school,this article proposes and implements a Android-based course management system after conducting a questionnaire survey and having discussions with teachers and students.The system client retains both the mobile terminal and the page side.It consists of six basic modules including course information,course attendance,course indiscipline tickets,class scores,class hour statistics and teacher evaluation.It achieved the goal to deal with the course affairs instantly,and greatly reduces the workload of filling,reclaiming,checking,typing,statistics and feedback of various forms.In the design,the drop-down menu,multi-select button and other controls instead of text input are used to make the system more user-friendly.In the functional modules,it shows the photos of teachers and students to make the interface more intuitive.The system uses B/S network structure mode.The Android mobile application use windows version of Eclipse as the development environment,use PHP to implement the server code and page sides,use JSON format to exchange data between the client and server sides,use MySQL database for data storage,and use Apache server for internal test and release.The system for the campus information of the school-level issues,the page-side function has been put into school for more than a year while the mobile phone side is under internal test,and has got positive responds from the users.
