Research On Number Automatic Recognition Technology Based On Camera And Apply In Express Delivery Industry

With the rapid development of e-commerce and the increasingly mature,it promotes the rapid development of express industry,the number of courier produced every day to grow with each passing day.In the past 2016 years,only one day,"double 11",produced logistics orders up to 657 million,causing a large number of express mail backlog.Each day every courier sends a large number of express,however,it takes a lot of time and energy to spend on the call.In order to improve the efficiency of express delivery,this project will make full use of the convenience of mobile intelligent terminal to develop an APP software which uses a smart mobile phone camera to recognize express telephone number directly and a key to achieve dial-up in order to improve the delivery efficiency greatly and reduce the courier’s workload.According to the structural characteristics of express telephone number,this paper improves the character recognition algorithm based on structural features,and transplants the algorithm to the Android platform to realize the automatic identification of express telephone number on Android platform.First of all,from the express image acquisition and processing,the paper analyzes the characteristics of the express layout and the telephone number of the express image,using a custom guide box to take pictures.Then operate on the area of the image preprocessing,binarization,the precise positioning of the character area,character segmentation,character size normalization,thinning operations,etc.Finally,according to the structural characteristics of the characters to classify and identify the characters,so as to complete the automatic identification of express telephone number.In the process of software implementation,the character recognition algorithm based on structure feature is programmed and simulated in OpenCV environment of Windows platform,and then through the simulation verification algorithm transplanted to the Android platform,and ultimately in the Android platform to achieve a photo-based express telephone number recognition system.After the experiment on the design of the system,the entire system interface is simple,easy to operate,smooth operation,recognition rate reached 98%.The system can be used not only in the express telephone industry,but also in other applications where dialing needs to be identified.
