With the advent of the Internet plus, the Internet industry growes explosively in worldwide,at the same time companies have set up their own virtual private network, more and more information is distributed and transmited between enterprise branches and business partners in the IP metropolitan area network optimization; With the business development, the IP metropolitan area network optimization MPLS VPN network requirements are getting higher and higher, how to solve the expansion of the existing MPLS VPN network bottlenecks and how to protect the network communication quality of the current need to focus on the key issues; Therefore, puting forward reasonable MPLS VPN network in IP metropolitan area network optimization method has very important research value and practical significance.Firstly, this article describes in detail the relevant principles of MPLS VPN,and it discusses the principles of MPLS technology, the principle of VPN technology, the principle of MPLS VPN in metropolitan area network, and further studies and analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the traditional MPLS VPN networking architecture and cross-domain strategy,it puts forward some problems that need to be improved in today's MPLSVPN network, but it also provides a theoretical basis for the optimization of below.Secondly,In view of the shortcomings of traditional MPLS VPN network architecture, the article proposes an optimization scheme of MPLS VPN networking architecture based on hierarchy PE technology, the aim of this optimization is to separate the control and data forwarding capabilities of traditional MPLS VPN from the logical functions as far as possible, and achieves MPLS VPN network architecture hierarchical purposes, and enhances the scalability of the network; At the same time, the scheme also optimizes the equal-cost multipath weighting algorithm to improve the security and transmission quality of the whole network; Then through software simulation, comparing before and after optimization load of VPN?IP packet network delay?jitter and packet loss rate,it is proved that the MPLS VPN network structure based on hierarchy PE technology is superior to the traditional MPLS VPN networking architecture.Thirdly,it is aimed at the disadvantage of traditional MPLS VPN cross-domain strategy, the article proposes optimization scheme based on load balancing technology cross-domain policy, this optimization has proclaimed the cross-domain equipment which shall be responsible for all VPNV4 route to share to each local PE equipment, and cross-domain device does not need to be saved or declare any outward route VPNV4,this scheme can effectively reduce the cross-domain device load; Then, the optimized cross-domain strategy is simulated on the ENSP simulation platform, the way of PING packet and wireshark software fetching show that the optimized strategy is feasible at the network level; And this method compares before and after cross domain optimization strategy of equipment's CPU utilization,it is further proved that the cross-domain policy based on load sharing technology can reduce the load of the device, thus it achieves the purpose of improving the network security. Finally,it is focused on the "Jiangxi Telecom IP metropolitan area network MPLS VPN network optimization design project",and it elaborates the optimization design of the project, and describes the performance of the relevant equipment?the method of parameter planning and the scheme of QOS deployment in the engineering design; Then through the relevant test prove that MPLS VPN network after this transformation in the page response time?file download speed and other network-aware indicators are much better than before the transformation.
