Illumination model is a very important research direction in realistic computer graphics. In the visual field, how to improve the application of illumination model in shape representation of the object and the sense of reality is an urgent problem to be solved. This thesis come from the direction of illumination model to research fuzzy problems drawing on the homogeneous region and boundary of the object.The first research content of this thesis is optical model for rendering of volume data that based on based on surface, which introduce the concept of curvature to enhance the effect of light. This thesis research the internal structure information come from the light, propose a enhancement Phong optical model. The second research introduce the enhance optical light based on versatile optical model for hybrid rendering of volume data, by analyzing the correspondence of curvature and shape of an object to further improve object shape representation and rendering, propose a detail enhancement hybrid volume rendering. Design the system of 3D visualization and use the improve hybrid volume rendering illumination model for rendering, and the system of function was verified and performance was analyzed. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:1. Analyzing the method of visualization of volume data and the illumination model, and summarizing the domestic and foreign existing volume data visualization method and the illumination model.2. Researching optical model for rendering of volume data based on a particle of light illumination model and face of illumination model, and focus research Phong optical model by introducing the concept of curvature to enhance the Phong optical model. Finally, the pre-integrated algorithm is used to optimize.3. Study the type of curvature in the 3D visualization, analyzing the corresponding relationship between curvature and the light intensity of illumination, and to enhance the intensity of illumination algorithm based on curvature.4. This thesis research on versatile optical model for hybrid rendering of volume data and the curvature, analyzing the feasibility of the application of the curvature in versatile optical model for hybrid rendering of volume data, research the curvature in the versatile optical model for hybrid rendering of volume data, and puts forward detailenhancement versatile optical model for hybrid rendering of volume data. Finally,design the system of 3D visualization and use the improve hybrid volume rendering illumination model for rendering. This system can not only improve illumination effect,but also able to clearly identify internal structure features.Finally, all works of this thesis are summarized, and to extends the thought of research in the future.
