Time delay exists in the practical industrial engineering widely,so it is necessary for people to use the time delay to help different kinds of systems to achieve better stability.Because various kinds of time-delay is inevitable,it may also affect the various aspects of performance in the engineering.In some of the automatic control engineering,people can use the time-delay to stabilize control performance.Combined with real life applications,the system time delay phenomenon in our practical work is an inevitable problem,so how to effectively solve the problem of delay has become a hot spot in the research area.This dissertation discusses the stability analysis of this system firstly.Based on the integral uniform decomposition,the delay interval is decomposed into a limited number of uniform section of scaling parameters.By using the reciprocally convex combination technique and referring to the size of time delay,this dissertation solves parts of the functional derivative formulas and enhances the interference immunity simultaneously.In addition,the application of the integral inequality can simplify the calculation process of this dissertation.In view of its stability,this dissertation has some new ideas for a neutral continuous system.Based on the above conclusion,the controller design method of this system is presented.Finally the conclusion is given in the form of LMI.Then this dissertation analyzes a class of neutral time-delay discrete systems.The stability analysis of discrete systems is similar with the continuous case.By introducing some new Lyapunov functionals and using the reciprocally convex combination technique and Jensen inequality to estimate the forward difference of the Lyapunov functionals,and this dissertation has the new insights in the investigation of the stability.The subsequent controller design aspects of linear discrete system increased a little difficulty,relatively continuous system it needs more work to do before linearization.In addition,in the discrete case,the neutral item is introduced in the functional and the LMI.
