Superconducting magnetic separator is a special kind of magnetic separators,which break the technology barriers of the conventional magnetic separator with electromagnetic energy consumption,low efficiency narrow sorting space and so on.However,due to the design and manufacture of large superconducting magnets is relatively difficult and complex,the cost is also relatively high,so studying and exploring the small superconducting separator as a pilot,is extremely important.Firstly,comparing today's foreign superconducting magnetic separators for experimental in this paper,we found that the separators are all used with static separation process,namely magnets and sorting chamber is relatively static,the material flowing through the separation chamber,to achieve the separation of the magnetic material and the non-magnetic material.It's always used for water environment treatment,there are some differences with the dressing with a magnetic separator.Superconducting magnetic separator for experimental in this subject selected the reciprocating separation process,which is used mainstream in today's mine superconducting magnetic separator,and in the same time,its process has been simplified from the actual content of the project.Secondly,we analysis the process of the reciprocating superconducting magnetic separator,explain the process and control logic of the superconducting magnetic separator in the subject,and the hardware configuration and the software structure of the control system are briefly introduced.Among them,a load cell is selected instead of a flow sensor and type of servo motor is decided paper gives a more detailed calculation argument.Thirdly,a more detailed analysis and research to the multiplex 485 polling communication programming in development of the monitoring system has been designed in this paper,and also a more detailed analysis and research to the automatic sampling and speed oscillation problems encountered in the design have been overcome.Finally,the work of the superconducting magnetic separators for experimental are summarized,and expanded research work and the future perspective are presented.
