Wireless Mesh network is a self-organizing,self configuring wireless multi hop network with wide application prospect.Compared with the traditional wireless network,wireless Mesh network has the advantages of high flexibility,high mobility and rapid deployment.Since each node in a wireless Mesh network can send and receive data,and can communicate directly with one or more peer nodes,it is vulnerable to internal malicious node attacks.The existing malicious node detection method is inefficient to detect the malicious nodes of the wireless Mesh network,and can not shield the malicious nodes after detecting the malicious nodes.Firstly,it discussed the basic structure and characteristics of wireless Mesh network and the importance of malicious node detection for wireless Mesh network security,then analysed two commonly used malicious node detection methods.Secondly,a malicious node detection and shield model based on better approach to mobile Ad-hoc networking(BATMAN)routing protocol(MNDSMB)is proposed.MNDSMB record routing changes by analyzing the originator messages to generate packet loss rate and other parameters.Locking suspicious nodes by compare the parameters with the thresholds.Then used the improved K/N voting algorithm,all nodes are participate in determining whether the suspicious node is a malicious node.Then add the malicious node identity number to the blacklist by source node list update to shield the malicious nodes in wireless Mesh networks.Finally,it achieved the malicious node detection module and shield module of the MNDSMB model.It verified the feasibility and effectiveness of MNDSMB in simulation environment,MNDSMB is compared with the common malicious node detection methods by detection performance evaluation experiment.The results show,MNDSMB has higher detection rate and lower false alarm rate.Moreover,the malicious node shield effectiveness experiment indicated MNDSMB can shield the malicious nodes in wireless Mesh networks effectively and improve network performance.
