Surface mount technology(SMT)is a kind of advanced electronic components mounting technology and process,which realizes the automation and intelligence of the assembly line.And mounter is a critical automation equipment in the production line,which directly determines the production efficiency and accuracy of the production line.With the thinning of the electronic products,the higher efficiency and accuracy of the placement machine is put forward,and the mounting path of the mounter is one of the important factors which affect the efficiency of the SMT.Thus the study of mounting path optimization has great significance and value.This paper analyzed the research status of patch machine and its mounting path optimization in domestic and abroad,built the mathematical modeling of mount path optimization combined with the actual mount process.And the elitist ant colony algorithm was proposed to solve the routing problem.The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly,this paper studied the working principle of various types of machine,analyzed the the mounting process of vertical rotary chip mounter,summed up the influencing factors of the mounting efficiency,made the objectives of mounting efficiency optimization,and established a mathematical model of the mount path optimization.Secondly,analyzed the content and mechanism of ant colony algorithm,genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm.Through the comparative analysis of experimental data,it was found that the ant colony algorithm had the advantage of solving the TSP problem..Then,the TSP model was modified based on the factors affecting the efficiency of the mount and the mathematical model of the mounting path optimization.Elitist ant colony algorithm proposed by the basic ant colony algorithm was more suitable for solving the problem of mounting path optimization.Compared with the basic ant colony algorithm,elitist ant colony algorithm improved the following three points: first,the complex mounting path problem was decomposed into two related sub problems;second,grouped for mount,reduced the search scope of subset of ants;third,introduced the elite ant strategy;fourth,updated the pheromone with the combination of global and local.Finally,this paper completed the mount path optimization algorithm programming,and thenused the elite ant colony algorithm and the basic ant colony algorithm to solve the board mounting path of PCB.The motion control card and the three dimensional AC closed loop platform were used to simulation mount the optimal solution of the two algorithms.According to the analysis and comparison of the experimental data,it can be concluded that the elitist ant colony algorithm can effectively optimize the mounting path of the vertical rotary high speed mounter.
