With the popularity of smart devices and the development of wireless multimedia services, wireless data services will be demanded increasingly. By 2019, the traffic of data service in cellular networks will be about 11 times more than that in 2014, according to the Visual Networking Index(VNI) forecasted by Ciscoin Feb. 2015. In order to alleviate the load of base station caused by increasing tremendously data services. Third Generation Partnership Project(3rd Generation Partnership Project, 3GPP) proposes directly communications between devices(Device-to-Device, D2D) which can assist the base station to distribute content. This form of communication avoids the user data transmission via base station. Therefore, it can substantially reduces the base station load and dramatically enhances the radio spectrum utilization and network throughput.Firstly, the definition and advantages of D2 D are given in this paper. Then, by introducing the potential scenarios in D2 D, this paper analyzes the current research of D2 D and D2 D forwards data mechanism in different scenarios.Secondly, social relationship aware forwarding mechanism in D2 D communication is proposed in this paper. By analyzing the differences in interest degree of user in each location, a method to detect the logical structure of interest-based differences is proposed in this paper. Then this paper designs a data forwarding mechanism by perception the user's importance in community. Simulation results show that the proposed mechanism improves the operating efficiency of the network.What's more, a society based D2 D multihop multicast incentive mechanism is proposed in this paper. According to the social attributes of the user, the multicast request users and the core users can be chosen. Because of the selfish in reality users, core users will evaluate the in the process of video distribution. Therefore, an incentive mechanism based on Stackelberg game is proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can guarantee the income of base station and core users, and improve the transmission efficiency of base station. At last, we conclude our work and show our plan in future work.
