With the rapid development of mobile communication technology, the tide of developing TD-LTE(Time Division-Long Term Evolution) network has been heated up in the global range nowadays. In order to promote the long-term development of TD-LTE in our country, the good opportunity of TD-LTE development must be held tightly. When focusing on the equipments development in the TD-LTE industry chain, such as base stations, antennas, terminals, and so on, it needs to pay more attention on the demand of testing equipments in its every stage, especially the conformance testing equipments. To develop conformance testing technology with independent intellectual property rights, and break the technology monopoly of foreign companies, the national science and technology major project, “TD-LTE TTCN extensional test suite equipment development(Radio Resource Management)”, has been set up. Based on the project, the measurement process of the multi- mode terminal is developed and implemented with RRM conformance testing in the thesis.With the measurement process in connected state as the starting point, based on Testing and Test Control Notation version 3(TTCN-3) core language and TTworkbench platform, this thesis develops testcases of multiple layers monitoring and measurement accuracy in two aspects of process and precision, and implements its RRM conformance testing, verifiying the feasibility of the test system. The major research works and initiative points in this thesis are as follows:1. Based on automatic test model, the hardware architecture of RRM conformance testing is designed. Introducing channel simulator, the reliability of test results is improved; introducing radio frequency switching bo x to automatically select the channel environment and access system, the capability of automatic tests is improved.2. Combining with the test scheme in the protocols and traditional testing methods, and using the idea of modular design and layering in the network stack, it designs the software atchitecture of RRM conformance testing, which makes the function of Layer3 implemented by TTCN-3, to improve the shortcomings of traditional tests platform such as poor ability of debugging and inflexible control.3. According to the sublayers of protocol stack and the procedure of testcases, it designs primitive modules in the thesis to transfer signaling between sublayers and ensure the normal communication among equipments in the test system. It develops the testcases codes and the exception handling schemes, which could protect the test procedure.4. Testcases designed in this thesis are run and debugged on board and the confidence of the test results is above 95%, verifying the feasibility of the test scheme and the correctness of the designed testcases.
