With the development of wireless communication technology and sensor technology, the wireless sensor network has broad application prospects. However, the limited energy of sensor node is not easy to be supplemented, and the wireless channel is susceptible to signal interference which degrades the link quality. Therefore, how to improve the energy efficiency and reliability of transmission are two important problems in the research of WSN.Multipath routing increases the reliability of transmission and reduces the impact of link quality on packet transmission along a single path by increasing the number of transmission paths. For network coding technology,on the one hand,it can improve the transmission reliability by increasing the number of packets transmitted in the network;on the other hand,it can reduce the energy consumption by reducing the retransmission caused by the loss or error of packets. This article, combined multipath routing with network coding technology, studies the problem of strategy for improving the transmission reliability of wireless sensor network. The details are shown as follows. This article studied the strategy based on braided multipath and network coding to improve the transmission reliability.First,a braided multipath model from the source node to sink node was established. After encoding the data packet, source node transmits the encoded packets along the multipath.Analyze the total energy consumption generated by all the nodes and then calculate the normalized energy consumption of the strategy. Then, increase the number of transmitted packets by encoding packets at intermediate cluster head in order to improve the transmission reliability.Analyze the successful delivery ratio using the knowledge of full probability and conditional probability, and according to the successful delivery ratio and normalized energy consumption to evaluate the performance of the strategy proposed in this paper. The simulation results show that the proposed method is more effective than traditional transmission strategy in improving energy efficiency and reliability. This article proposed a transmission mode based on disjointed multipath and network coding.First,a disjointed multipath model from the source node to sink node was established. And then transmit data packets along these paths according to the alternative multipath mode.Second, calculate the probability that cluster head which the source node belongs to can perceive the event.Third, analyze the total number of packets transmitted and received, and then calculate the normalized redundancy according to it.In order to ensure the reliability of transmission, combine alternative multipath transmission mode with network coding technology. Finally, model and analyze the transmission reliability by k-out-of-n standby system. The simulation results show that the proposed method can improve the reliability and energy efficiency of wireless sensor network.
