With the development of science and technology,the use of high-tech instead of the traditional patrol has become a development trend in security technology.Among a variety of security products,the leaky coaxial cable(LCX)perimeter intruder detection system(PIDS)occupies a place in the application of security field with its unique advantage.LCX has the dual functions of transmitting and radiating or receiving electromagnetic wave.The LCX PIDS is suitable for wide-area surveillance especially.In the field of wide-area surveillance,timely and accurate feedback of the location of the intrusion is an indispensable function,and positioning is equivalent to a pair of eyes to realize this function.The research objectives and contents of this paper are derived from the scientific research item of "the key technology of the LCX PIDS",and focused on the study of its positioning technology.Firstly,the LCX sensor and the matching detection signals are designed and optimized by using the electromagnetic analysis software CST.Secondly,the RF front-end signal processing circuit of receiver module is designed by the RF circuit design software ADS.Finally,the design of positioning program and the verification of positioning function are completed by the algorithm development software MATLAB.The main contents and achievements of this paper are as follows.Firstly,with the research on the basic theory of LCX,the design of coupling LCX is completed and the main electrical performance index is analyzed and optimized.The measuring results agree well with the simulation results.The developed LCX is selected to design the positioning LCX sensor of PIDS,and the electrical performance of the sensor is analyzed.Secondly,the three kinds of detection signals including half sine pulse,linear frequency modulation(LFM)pulse and pseudo-noise sequence(PN)phase modulation pulse are selected to research on the one-dimensional positioning technologies of the coupling LCX sensor.Thirdly,The RF receiving circuit of the half sine pulse detection signal of the positioning technology is designed,and the receipt signal of the sensor is processed.On this basis,the extraction program of the intrusion location is designed,and the extraction results are analyzed.
