The design of an antenna driver controller,which is used in a certain airborne radar system based on actual work,is mainly discussed in this thesis,and the purpose for designing this controller that is to meet the requirement of a airborne radar antenna beam scanning over a certain airspace in principle verification experiment.By the comprehensive consideration of low cost,high efficiency,and short cycle,and technical conformity,The way we design this controller is based on existing motor,driver unit and angular encoder,and so as to meet the requirement of antenna beam scanning pattern in the verification experiment within the shortest time and at the lowest cost.First,the design and applications of Nios II soft-core CPU system embedded in Altera's FPGAs is discussed,and also the design approach of using Nios ? soft-core as the key component to control motor.Second,the design plan,Function Requirement,technical index,key module selection and connection relationship is described.Based on the function and the requirements,the external function interface,the functional block diagram of the controller,Nios II soft-core configuration and hardward schematic design is introudenced.and the the main functionsof the embeded software in this controller,as so as the design of various functional modules of control software is explained.After assembling,the controller is debugged by a designed debugging platform,both single-board debugging and installation debudgging are carried out.also the hardware module debugging environment is established for controller's function verification.Then the organizational structure,functional module classification,interface design and debugging of upper computer software are described in detail.Last,the installation debugging information and the antenna driver working data is collected and analyzed.The analysis result shows that this controller meets the design requirements.Also the problems occuring in single-board debugging and installation debugging stage are anlayzed detailedly in the thesis.In a word,the antenna driver with this controller as a key module is used in the radar verification experiment.During the process of the experiment,by the performance of the controller,the testing result and data analysis result,it's totally proved that this controller meets the original design purpose.
