Design And Implementation Of Adult Higher Education Student Management System

With the continuous expansion of the size of school,and the increasing quantity as well as studying and living demand of the student,the shortcomings of the traditional way of student management is gradually exposed in the large-scale student management.Currently,there is no accurate and effective ways to manage the sufficient information.The 21st century is an information technology and networking era.With the rapid development of information technology,we began to seek a way of management beyond the traditional one and thus a student management system comes into being.Currently most of the universities have developed and used a student management system,and gradually promote it.However,the differences between universities result that a general applicability of student management system is poor,and therefore it becomes more important to develop an applicable student management system according to their own situations.According to the actuality and characteristics of adult higher education management,and through a detailed needs analysis and effective development and testing work,this paper aims at establishing a suitable student management system for adult higher education.It bases on the present situation of the student management system and taking the example of adult higher education,puts forward a suitable system for their own university.Starting from a research background,and gradually introduce the development of technical tools,requirements analysis,system architecture,functional design,database design and development,testing various work phases,and summary of the work carried out at the end,prospect.The system development takes B/S(browser/server)as a model,uses Apache-tomcat to build server,uses the Java language and development tools MyEclipse to write server-side program,uses of JSP language to develop Web page,uses SQL Server 2008 as the database to support platform,and uses Bootstrap toolkit and html as foreground to achieve the completion of the system development tool.After testing,it achieves the desired objectives,the effective realization of student information management and improving the efficiency of student management.
