The Design And Implementation Of University Position Appointment System

Position appointment system is the only way to compete for positons for employees in universities.With a comprehensive assessment,detailed statistics,impartial process,rewards and punishments,universities could maintain a high qualified teaching team and make sure that every employee is in a positon he deserve and gets enough pay,which improves teachers' enthusiasm for work and improves competition fairness and impartiality.The traditional system has been unable to process more and more data,information and complex evaluations,and it has been unable to meet the trend of the paperless office.With the rapid development of information technology,staff appraisal management systems came into being and has been widely used.But there is till no system especially for position appointment in university.In this paper,the construction of position appointment system is based on the actual demand and position appointing process from a School of Computer Science and Technology of a university.We use the object-oriented software development method,object-oriented programming language and Java-related technologies + JDBC +Microsoft Access database to design and develop our system.The system provides the user of the system such as applicants,department leaders,personnel secretary,administrative secretary,professor,teaching and research secretary a paperless data management service,efficient and reliable process management service,a secure and fair rights management service and user management services which makes itself a system with clear interface,fast system response,clear business logic,robust and stable effect.In this paper,we also describe the key technologies of our system and so on.
