With the advantages of large bandwidth,large capacity,high transfer rate,and small volume of products,60GHz millimeter wave received widespread attention and research.Since 2008 IEEE set up a working group of IEEE802.11aj for Chinese 60GHz millimeter wave,following several global standards of millimeter wavewere promulgated.The standard named IEEE802.11aj was still under development.It is necessary to study the performance of communication system based on IEEE802.11aj draft.In addition,since 64QAM modulation was used in IEEE802.11 aj standard,it is more sensitive to the hardware impairments including phase noise and IQ imbalance.The current research of phase noise mainly based on OFDM,but the research based on the single carrier mode is relative less.Therefore it is necessary to study the suppression method of phase noise based on the single carrier.Firstly,this paper built a complete communication system according to the IEEE802.11aj draft standard by using Matlab.The communication system is consist of basic modules including pulse shaping,frequency offset,filter matched,frame detection,frequency offset compensation,timing synchronization,channel estimation and equalization,and hardware impairments including phase noise and IQ imbalance.This paper designed of each module,selected the appropriate algorithm and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of existing methods of reducing IQ imbalance.Two suitable low complexity methods for suppressing IQ imbalance were introduced.This paper found the energy solving method based on SFS sequence performance better through simulation,and selected it as the method to reduce IQ imbalance of the system.Secondly,this paper achieved its power spectral density model of phase noise,and analyzed the impact of phase noise,summarized and compensated the advantages and disadvantages of existing methods,proposed the method to reduce phase noise based on the GI which combined with the characteristics of the system,furthermore,proposed linear interpolation method based on GI and CPE interpolation method based on GI.The above three methodswere simulated and compared the packet error rate.The results showed that linear interpolation method based on GI had the best inhibitory effect in this system.This paper ensured the effective utilization of the databy using known GI without inserting additional data.This method lowed computational complexity and made a good effect on compensation without performing feedback judgment.Finally,this paper simulated the interference with 802.15.3c device by fixing SNR and SIR ratio.The simulation results showd that this system hada good anti-jamming performance and used the proper algorithm in each module of the system.The results of this research could provide important reference value for the development and application of IEEE802.11aj.
