With the development of the space-terrestrial integrated information network, the satellite network plays an important role as a means of acquiring, integrating, distributing and handling spatial information or resources in the integrated information network for the reason of its advantage of wide-area data transmission in the geographical position. However, with the increasingly diversified Internet multimedia services, satellite network is facing the network congestion or even paralysis caused by rapid growth of data traffic. In order to solve these problems, the routing technology and traffic control method in satellite network are researched in this thesis.Based on routing techniques and traffic control method in multi-layered and single layered satellite networks, this thesis focuses on double-layered satellite network management strategy, intelligent optimization and traffic shaping method. The main research works are as follow:(1) With the research of the characteristics of double-layer satellite network structure, the management strategy between different orbits of satellite layers and the QoS(Quality of Services)optimization models, this thesis proposes a cluster management strategy in the GEO/LEO double-layered satellite network, and then designs a dynamic routing algorithm based on the management strategy. The simulation results show that the proposed routing algorithm is suitable for double-layer satellite networks, and can reduce the transmission delay and improve the network throughput.(2) Based on the research of intelligent optimization model, this thesis improved basic bee-colony algorithm method. Then the bee-colony optimization model suitable for satellite network is proposed. Considering some QoS evaluation indexes such as delay, delay jitter and throughput, this thesis designs a multi-QoS routing algorithm based on bee-colony optimization. Simulation results show that the algorithm proposed in this thesis has excellent performance.(3) In the end of this thesis, based on the research of flow control method in communication network, a dynamic token allocation algorithm combined with priorities of services is proposed to dynamically allocate resources for different priority services in the satellite networks. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm does not only satisfy the QoS requirement of the services, but also ensure the fairness of the resources between different priorities. At the same time, the algorithm can inject the traffic smoothly and reduce the possibility of network congestion.
