In recent years,with the promotion of the "Broadband China"strategy,domestic carriers have actively implemented broadband speed engineering.PON construction has been considerably developed.However,behind the prosperity of PON construction,carriers are facing with difficulty of FTTH construction,pressure of maintenance,the complexity of service opening etc.It is urgent for carriers to study on PON operation and maintenance management scheme to improve the related capability.At the same time,with the implementation of the"Broadband China" strategy,needs of users such as video,data transmission become more and more diverse.How to provide users with more high-speed,more economical and stabler broadband access has become an urgent problem for carriers to solve.Therefore,research on new PON technology are needed.Based on this background,a series of research on the operation and maintenance management scheme of PON and WDM-PON technology are carried out.In the first part,a series of solutions are proposed to solve the problems of current PON network,including:(1)The PON self-service of opening scheme is developed,which is set up for FTTH service of opening and deployment;(2)PON service network and resource allocation scheme is developed,formulating some principles to make the simplest process,best efficiency and least resource;(3)the division scheme of EMS and RMS is developed,which divide the working boundry of RMS and EMS.After verification,these schemes have been tested in some provinces.In the second part of this paper,a series of tests are carried out on the self-seeded injection techonology based on FRM in WDM-PON technology,the following conclusions are drawn:(1)With the shorter drop fiber,the spectrum is more narrow,the peak transmitting power is much bigger,and the noise of the system is smaller,the quality of communication is higher;(2)With the increase of bias current,the system transmitting power gradually increased,but the growth rate of transmitting power gradually reduced;(3)Among 16 channels of AWG,power gain of the middle channel is the largest,then it is bigger number channel,the last is the smaller number channel.Meanwhile,with the bigger channel number,the ER is smaller,which leads to worse quality of communication.Through analyzing the test results,the paper form some significante guide to the current network.
