In modern communication, wireless communication has occupied an extremely important position. With the rapid development of wireless communication, there are more and more higher requirements for communication capacity, speed and interoperability. In recent years, due to the advantages of its own flexibility and software controllable, software-defined radio catches lots of eyes. In this thesis, we will introduce the design of digital down-conversion technology, decimation filter and the key technology of adaptive equalization based on channel technology for VHF communication system, together with the whole platform framework.Also in this thesis, we will show related design and simulation, verify the feasibility of the key technology in the receiver given above, which is of great significance to the research and design of the key technologies in the communication system.This thesis is relying on the national project, with the actual project research as the background, starting from the theory and theory analysis,combined with MATLAB and ModelSim simulation, specify the research and design of following several parts:Firstly, the relevant theories and important concepts in software-defined radio receivers are given, among them Nyquist sampling theorem and band-pass sampling theorem are emphasized. Then introduce common methods in multi-rate decimation filters, including CIC filter and FIR filter.These key technology are the important theoretical basis for the follow-up research and implements.Secondly, the channelization technology is proposed, and two kinds of methods are described: one is the way using digital filter bank, the other is the combination of multi-phase network and FFT technology. Then through comparison by combining the principle and effect of MATLAB simulation in power consumption and performance between them, we can make the conclusion that the way of multi-phase network and FFT technology has its unique advantage. By this advantage we draft the scheme of realizing channelization based on poly-phase network and FFT technology, and it is proved to be available for the project system on FPGA.Finally, realize the design and simulation of data transmission through McBSP channel between FPFA and DSP. And for the realization of the adaptive equalization part of the receiver, propose to achieve in a joint way,that is, pass signal data to DSP through McBSP channel on which platform design the adaptive equalization filter parameters and then send these parameters back to FPGA for the final realization of adaptive channel equalization by using high efficiency MAC structure for the design of variable coefficient filter.
