With the development of the display technology,three-dimensional display technology has attracted attention because of its true 3D depth information and complete surface characteristics,which can give the viewer a immersive feeling.Among the numerous 3D display technology,the light-field 3D display technology is came out from them with its many advantages,such as truly display result,large viewing degree,no visual discomfort and so on.In this paper,a 3D light-field display system based on a LCD and a holographic function screen is realized.The principle and the key technology of the system are studied,and the characteristics of the system are analyzed.In this paper,a 3D display system based on a LCD and a holographic function screen is realized by using the principle of light-field display.The function of the whole system is described in detail.The theoretical principle of the system is described,and the key technologies of the system such as light-field modulation technology,light-field demodulation and reconstruction technology are discussed in detail.Based on the theory of the diffraction and the angular spectrum,the whole process of optical field information from acquisition,transmission to reconstruction is analyzed in detail.And the feasibility of the experimental system is verified from space and frequency domain.Finally,according to the voxel theory based on the ray tracing,an analysis is carried out for the voxel which corresponding pixels in the space are overlapped completely or overlapped partially.And the resolution characteristics of the system are studied in depth.The correctness of the theoretical model is proved by comparing with the results of a reconstruction experiment using a resolution detection card.And according to this a method for improving the quality of the displayed image is presented.
