Virtual network resource allocation is one of the core issues of network virtualization. A good virtual resource mapping algorithm is very important. It will rapidly response to a request, improve the overall success rate of mapping , adapt to changes in network and improve mapping revenue to bring more benefits to a company and so on.In this thesis, we mainly study resource mapping algorithm in wireless mesh network. Wireless mesh network has many advantages, such as load balancing, easy to deploy and removal of nodes, which has got more and more attention. Especially wireless mesh network is suitable for the access network, this thesis researches the virtual resource mapping algorithm target at the wireless mesh access network request in order to meet the needs of different users of customized Internet access.The main contributions of the thesis are as follows. First, this thesis regards both the backbone network nodes and client nodes as access nodes in order to increase the coverage. We study how to allocate the limited channel to the virtual access network and propose resource mapping algorithm for wireless mesh virtual access network based on gateway tree.We conduct simulations for online resource mapping. The proposed algorithm improves request acceptance rate and the profit of the virtual access network. Second, in this thesis, we present a reasonable strategy for handling node mobility and put forward resource mapping algorithm for virtual wireless mesh access network based on node mobility, including the channel re-configuration algorithm, access point selection algorithm, etc.According to random path point model, for the node mobility, online resource mapping simulation is made. Simulation results indicate the proposed algorithm improved the performance in terms of the request acceptance rate, the revenue of the virtual access network, the ratio of the virtual network re-mapping and channel switching.
