The Research And Implementation Of Information Visualization Technology

Information visualization makes use of computer graphical image and data mining technology to reveal interactively and vividly the hidden data information to users.It's widely applied in the area of government security and health care to assist users to analyze data and then discover underlying rules.With the rapid development of data scale and in view of the variety of data sources,traditional information visualization is now facing the new challenge.Therefore,the study of information visualization technology is considered significant to the theoretical research and also of great relevance to applications.This paper aims to mainly focus on the intensive study of information visualization technology and its application,propose the visualization and the analytical method for log data and text data of government affairs website,as well as multidimensional medical and health caring data,validate by experiments the feasibility of the methods introduced herein.1.For the log data of government affairs website,a visual analytical system is designed and implemented on the basis of double layer clustering model.The system analyzes the log data by the method of double layer clustering,which is based on SOM neural networks and Fuzzy c-means,shows the comparison of the log data,before and after the clustering,by parallel coordinates to further enhance the visualization,and selects interactively the important information to check for facilitating the analysis.2.For the text data of government affairs website,a visual analytical system is designed and implemented on the basis of classification,to analyze the thematic category of the website(macroscopic)and the key words it describes(microscopic):from the macro perspective,the distribution of each web page's thematic category could be analyzed and concluded;from the micro perspective,the hot events of the web site could be analyzed likewise.The system shows the statistical result of the distribution of the news themes in the website during a certain period,the variation and its trend of the news themes,as well as the distribution of the hot events in the website during a certain period,the variation and its trend of the hot events by the visual forms such as histogram,pie chart,line chart,cloud character and etc.3.For the multidimensional medical and health caring data,an analytical system is designed and implemented on the basis of hybrid visualization,to display a tremendous amount of statistical data.Integrated with several visual techniques like radar graph,2.5D map,dynamic diagram,histogram and line chart,the system enhances the result of visualization by following the common rules of visual perception,in order to provide the users with multi interactive views to conduct a further study in their parts of interest and also various angles to analyze the index data.Meanwhile,the system displays data from the angle of space,time and multi dimensions,which is considered a powerful tool to explore and understand the data.
