With the rapid development of the Internet,more and more LBS applications have appeared in our life.Vehicle Monitoring System is a typical LBS application for some specific functional departments.With the development of time and system,the amount of data is increasing rapidly.How to efficiently store and manage the large amount of vehicle position information as well as maintain the performance under the pressure of high concurrent visit has become an urgent problem to be solved.When the traditional relational datebase is straitened facing the"big data","high concurrent visit" and "high scalability" problems,the NoSQL break out and its research becomes very hot.Based on the requirement and characteristics of the vehicle monitoring system,this thesis designs and implements a system which uses NoSQL database to efficiently store massive data and with high scalability.It has great practical significance.The main work of this thesis:(1)This thesis introduces the concept,research status and theoretical basis of the NoSQL database.Then,compared to traditional relational database,the thesis elaborates the advantages of NoSQL database in high concurrency,high availability and scalability and analyzes the reasons of choosing MongoDB as the data storage from the characteristics and functions of the vehicle monitoring system.(2)This thesis thoroughly studies the theory of MongoDB 's sharding and load balance techniques,designs the sharding-strategy of the data collection in the system.(3)The MongoDB database cluster is built,and based on this,the database storage model is designed.Combined with Node.js,WebGIS and other related technologies,the thesis implement a vehicle monitoring system which can efficiently store huge data and have high scalability.(4)This thesis simulates the real environment and tests the performance of MongoDB cluster based on single MongoDB database as a benchmark.The test results show that the system based on MongoDB cluster has higher throughput and high concurrent load performance.
