MongoDB's SNS Platform Based Design And Implementation

With the development of the mobile Internet, SNS(social network service or system) has become one of the basic application of Web2.0. SNS web site and application are in the global vigorous development, Internet information also increasingly expansion, the traditional relational database become more and more powerless in the face of pure dynamic website of Web2.0. How to solve the problem of SNS system in storage of mass data and high concurrent reading and writing, has become an urgent problem to be solved. It will become a new demand that designing and developing the platform with common functions. That can provide REST services for all of SNS systems.MongoDB is the most popular products in the NoSQL. Relational databases always can’t solve the problem of mass data storage and efficient accessing, but MongoDB can.This dissertation discusses technologies related with design and realization of a SNS platform based on MongoDB, and discusses some key technologies deeply. First analysis of the development present situation of MongoDB and SNS platform, introduces MongoDB, RESTful Web. Then it describes the overall design of SNS platform based on the MongoDB and the design and realization of each module. The test of system functional and performance shows that the SNS platform can run all the functions of all modules well and has good expansibility. Using MongoDB can meet the requirements of mass data storage and high concurrency accessing. Finnally,at the end of this dissertation, it summarizes experiences, points out existing shortage, and proposes improvement measures.
