With the rapid development of Internet technology,a variety of colorful new business has gradually loaded onto the network,making the IP network becomes more bloated,and a lot of drawbacks also has appeared.So software-defined network(SDN),a new network structure is proposed,OpenFlow is the SDN product.Despite OpenFlow network has many innovations,its QoS functions remains to optimize.Especially for some businesses which has higher requirement,such as video transmission,and people's needs and requirements are also increasing to the high-definition video transmission.Therefore,how to effectively protect the streaming quality in OpenFlow network,developed a suitable QoS model on OpenFlow network streaming,this will has great significance.Firstly,the thesis introduces the composition of OpenFlow network technologies,including the controller,Flow Visor,switches and OpenFlow applications.Then introduces the importance of QoS to business transmission,and several typical IP network QoS models,including Best-Effort,Int-Serv,Diff-Serv and MPLS QoS model,then analyzing and comparing their advantages and disadvantages.Then combining the advantages of MPLS QoS models and dynamic routing ideas,innovatively designing a QoS mode that can be applied in the OpenFlow network,namely OpenQoS.When the streaming data is transmitted end-to-end in OpenFlow network,which enables the data entering OpenFlow network,there will be a fast forwarding path through the switch flow table,and this path can be under the control of the OpenFlow controller,dynamically change the path according to network status,enabling the data to be forwarded by the best and the fastest route,in order to protect the quality of streaming media transmission.Finally,by designing a small topological network to test the system function,then analysis and comparison of the experimental results,verify whether OpenQoS OpenFlow network flows can improve the quality of media transmission.The thesis research on OpenFlow network and QoS,there are about two innovations,firstly,combining the MPLS application in traditional networks,we propose a OpenFlow switch which could forwarding fastly based on MPLS flow table,so that the data can be quickly forwarded in the OpenFlow network;in addition,combinating the idea of Dijkstra dynamic routing algorithm in IP network,proposed a OpenFlow controller model having a topology update and route calculation function,the model can updates routing path real-timely according to the network status,so can calculate the most appropriate routing path.
