Design And Implementation Of Server Hardware Testing Platform

With the rapid development of the Internet, the speed of the server device replacement is becoming faster and faster, and the frequency of the hardware test of server is becoming higher and higher. Traditional testing methods can not meet the demand. At present, there are some problems in the field, such as low working efficiency, long test cycle, too many manual intervention and bad test personnel's skill. Improving the efficiency and quality of the test task is becoming the focus of the industry research.To solve the above problems, the related literatures and theories are studied, then the product requirements are proposed, and finally a server hardware testing platform is designed and implemented. The platform is mainly made up of a web server and a central control unit. The web server uses MySQL database to storage data of the platform, and uses Yii framework to realize functions of the platform, such as test data management, test plan management, machine management, automated test management, system settings.The test cases are stored in the central control unit, and the server devices are tested by the central control unit. On this basis, in order to realize automated testing, TCP module is added to make the Web server and the central control unit communicate with each other.WebSocket module is added to display real-time test data.At present, the platform is successfully passed the functional and compatible test. All modules work well and the platform meets the demand. The platform not only improves the efficiency and quality of work, but also promotes the development of the industry, and this paper provides a solution for similar requirements. Although there are some deficiencies, its successful deployment and trial operation are still of great significance.
