Fiber optic gyro is used for all solid state sensor carrier angular displacement and angular velocity, the control performance of the fiber optic gyroscope system determines the input signal response speed and tracking ability, it plays a key role on the performance of the inertial navigation system; compared with other forms of gyroscopes, fiber optic gyroscope has higher bandwidth and faster the response speed, so the methods of testing the performance of the control system is also different with other forms of gyroscope, through comparison and analysis of several testing methods,control performance test method principle of equivalent input and digital frequency synthesis technology is most suitable for the high performance fiber optic gyroscope ,so this paper based on this method design a suitable laboratory existing models of fiber optic gyro control equipment performance testing system,and to test the practical control ability of the fiber optic gyroscope system.This paper first describes the development of the fiber optic gyro at home and abroad and the development of its control performance testing technology. The basic working principle of optical gyro is introduced. The system transfer function model is established through dynamic modeling.Then the advantages and disadvantages of the three different test methods are analyzed.According to the equivalent input principle, the digital testing method is more suitable for the high performance fiber optic gyroscope equipment. Therefore, a set of test system is designed,which is based on the principle of equivalent input method and the direct digital frequency synthesis technology. This system can not only meet the requirements of test drive, but also can realize the test of the system.Again, in order to be able to accurately analyze the test results, according to the characteristics of the test system design, including the test results of the board of the data packet transmission, serial data transmission end, the host computer test results receiving software testing data acquisition system, the transmission of 98 sets of data per second transmission of 1560 sets of data to achieve the results of the data output frequency requirements.At the end of this paper, the theoretical simulation and test system are used to test the performance of fiber optic gyroscope. The results are compared with the results obtained. The structure of PI is obtained. The band width is 230Hz.
