With the development of industrialization,air pollution increasingly seriously endanger our lives.Especially in China,the air pollution is particularly serious.Gas sensor based on metal oxide semiconductor can effectively detect poisonous gases,which is increasingly drawing scientists' attention.However,since it is being difficult for the conventional semiconductor gas materials to meet the current demand for gas-sensitive materials due to its high operating temperatures,low-accuracy and complicated process.In this work,we fabricated Fe2(MoO4)3 coralline-like nanoparticles,which is a new kind of functional material in the field of gas sensing,through stiring in water bath,with a simple process and low-cost.With a further research,we fabricated Fe2(MoO4)3@MoO3 yolk-shell nanostructures.The main contents of the research are shown as follows:1.Synthesis of Fe2(MoO4)3 nanostructuresIn this work,we developed an efficient and facile method to fabricate Fe2(MoO4)3 nanoparticles.Scanning electron measurement showed that Fe2(MoO4)3 nanoparticles with an average diameter of 400nm.The successful synthesis of Fe2(MoO4)3 nanoparticles proved the possibility of a more facile method through stiring in water bath.2.Fabrication of Fe2(MoO4)3@MoO3 yolk-shell nanostructuresFirstly,we synthesized MoO3 nanosheets with the raw material of MoS2.And with a further synthesis,we gain Fe2(MoO4)3@MoO3 yolk-shell nanostructures based on the MoO3 nanosheets.By means of a series of characterization,we analyzed and proved its synthetic process.The average diameter of the Fe2(MoO4)3@MoO3 yolk-shell nanostructures is 600nm.3.The gas-sensing properties of Fe2(MoO4)3 nanomaterials and Fe2(MoO4)3@MoO3 yolk-shell nanostructuresThe gas sensors based on the porous Fe2(MoO4)3 nanomaterials and Fe2(MoO4)3@ MoO3 yolk-shell nanostructures were fabricated,and their sensing properties showed high sensitivity,good selectivity and low working temperature.Respectively,the gas sensing mechanism was discussed.
