With the development of today's Internet, there are more and more problems. The emergence of application layer gateway can effectively improve the security of network. The processing process is complex and time-consuming, which seriously affects the processing speed of the application layer gateway, and the throughput of the whole network. If we manner to reduce the network congestion in time, when there is a sudden condition can fair dealing with each data stream, it can not only improve the processing ability of the whole network to serve better,but also keep the whole Internet robust. This paper improves the cache performance of application layer gateway from the following two aspects: cache management and cache replacement.According to the phenomenon of Internet congestion, this paper will take the AQM method into the application layer gateway, put forward a kind of a new active queue management algorithm called CFAQM, which based on cuckoo hashing and Fred algorithm.This algorithm will put the data into multi groups, manage application layer gateway data dynamically according to the received packet buffer. In order to reduce data reviewing too slow due to the cache packets accumulation,different groups according to the current queue load, in a certain probability forward data packets directly , reduce examination steps to avoid the network congestion cannot be timely processing cause to a large number of data packet loss, affect the user's Internet experience. At the same time using the cuckoo hash to solve the queue is too full, increases the utilization rate of the entire cache. Finally, under the experimental environment, through comparing the performance of FRED algorithm and CFAQM algorithm, the experiment shows that the algorithm has better performance in dealing with network congestion.In order to reduce the number of reviews, this paper is based on the Web access characteristics, as well as analysis the impact of the cache hit rate of the key factors, proposes a packet management method ,which caches URL historical analysis state data called UTHybrid. Due to the limited resources of the system, cannot storage all URL history analytical state, according to the requirements of the present system,reduce as the cause of the updating of server resources, the current cache states are too old, so that the state analysis and the actual situation is inconsistent phenomenon, improvement of the hybrid cache for conversion method and using calibration data used in the application layer gateway. Through to add a cache of the firewall and the traditional firewall experiments for comparison, results show that when the data flow is larger, the running time is longer, use UTHybrid algorithm application layer gateway has better processing performance, can effectively reduce session of average processing delay.
