In the history of mankind,since the third division of society,businessmen have been playing an important role in human economic life.During the Ming and Qing Dynasties,there were ten commercial gangs in China,among which Shanxi merchants and Huizhou merchants were the most famous.In modern times,with the gradual deepening of reform and opening up,Chinese socialist market economic system gradually formed.The commercial economy has become the main inspection index of the development level of the state and the provinces and cities.Chamber of Commerce come into the vision of world attention once again.On October 8th,2011,Hubei Provincial Government Information Office in its press conference held,the official will be named Hubei businessmen "Chu merchants".This paper from the perspective of communication,social construction theory as a pillar framework,the use of sample analysis of research methods.This study chooses "Hubei Daily" as the target sample,studies the construction of Chu merchants image and its related problems.This paper is divided into five parts to elaborate.The first part is the preface of the article,which mainly points out the research background,the purpose of the study and the practical significance,the research summary and the clarification of the meaning of the research object.The second part is discussed from the research method.That is,the study sample,the time range,the determination of the operation method,the research question and the content analysis index clear.The third part is the specific content analysis,briefing the existence of Chu merchants media image construction characteristics.The fourth part analyzes the shortcomings and causes of the media in the process of constructing the image of Chu merchants.Finally,the fifth part summarizes the situation of Hubei media in the construction of Chu business during the sample period,and draws the strategy of constructing Chu merchants image.
