Computed Tomography Angiography(CTA),Coronary Artery Angiography(CAG),Intravascular Ultrasound(IVUS)are the most commonly used imaging modalities for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases.Different imaging modalities provide complementary information. This paper studies the fusion methods of CTA images with IVUS images and CAG images. The fusion method of CTA and IVUS images is: first, the 3D vessel lumen centerline of the CTA was reconstructed, and the 3D reconstruction of the vessel lumen centerline was completed;Second, the inner and outer membrane contours of IVUS images were extracted;Three, axial position and spatial orientation of each IVUS slice are determined along the 3D vascular lumen center of the CTA;Finally, the vessel wall surface is implemented with surface fitting technique to get the final fusion results.Collection of clinical data fusion results of qualitative analysis and quantitative assessment.Fusing the spatial structure information of vessel lumen centerline extracted by CTA images with the cross-sectional information of vessel wall extracted by IVUS image sequence. The fusion method of CTA images and CAG images is: first, the 3D vessel lumen centerline of the CTA was reconstructed, and the 3D reconstruction of the vessel lumen centerline was completed;Second, the 2D vessel lumen centerline of the CAG image was extracted;Three, the 2D image of the 3D vessel lumen centerline extracted from the CTA image is reconstructed to obtain a digital reconstructed image(DRR);Finally, according to the similarity function, the DRR image which is closest to the CAG image is obtained, and the fusion of the CTA image and the CAG image is completed.Combining the advantages of CTA images with the high resolution of the 3D vessel lumen centerline and the information of the 2D vessel centerline accurately extracted from the CAG images. The quality of image fusion was evaluated by the image fusion criterion, also the advantages and limits of methods are discussed.
