The Discussion Of Physicians' Medication Prescriptions Treating Stomachache In Ancient Based On Data Mining

Objective:Utilizing data mining such as frequency analysis,association rules analysis and taking ancient prescriptions of stomachache treatment as research object,the ancient physicians' Therapeutic Thought,medication law is discovered from points of High-frequency medicines,core medicine groups,compatible regulation.The result will provide treatment of the disease with reliable basis.Method:Through collecting ancient prescriptions of treating stomachache in the Canon of Chinese Medicine and preprocessing the relevant data,the database of prescriptions was established in Traditional Chinese Medicine Inheritance Support system V2.5”(TCMISS V2.5).Then there were illumination and discussion based on TCMISS V2.5 including frequency analysis,Apriori algorithm,unsupervised entropy of hierarchical clustering and complex entropy clustering.Result : There are 178 sorts of herbal medicines in 343 treating stomachache prescriptions.And the total drug frequency is 2591.The frequency statistics in herbal medicine and its category shows that the main herbal medicines include Chenpi,Pinellia Tuber,Poria,liquorice,Rhizoma Cyperi,dried ginger,Officinal Magnolia Bark,Cassia Twig,Rhizoma Corydalism,Radix Paeoniae Alba and the medicine category involves in regulating qi,tonifying deficiency,dissipating blood stasis,eliminating phlegm and asthma.In addition the result shows that the major herbal properties,flavor and the meridian entries is Wenping,XingKuGan,lung and spleen respectively.The results of association rules analysis reveal that there are 37 medical combinations whose frequency exceeds 25,as well as there are 9 coupled combinations and 6 triad medical combinations in high frequency medical mode.Finally,there are 16 new medicine combination and 9 new prescriptions found by Entropy clustering analysis.Conclusion:Ancient physicians normally use effective therapy involved in regulating qi,tonifying deficiency,dissipating blood stasis,eliminating phlegm to treat stomachache.The therapy shows two significant characteristics:Paying attention to Qi and phlegm to take regulating qi-flowing for eliminating phlegm as emphasis;tonifying deficiency,decrease excess,regulating Yin and Yang to promote middle-jiao balance.The analysis of new prescriptions embodies a variety of treatments based on syndrome differentiation such as removing phlegm and blood stasis,warming and clearing-heat,regulating Qi and blood.As a result,the new treatment thought and therapy system will be expanded.
