In the construction of the project, due to the design of construction and operation, will make the concrete structural cracks, the cracks of concrete building structure safety, durability and appearance of adverse effects. When the crack width reaches the maximum value, the building structure will be destroyed. A large number of scientific research and experiments have proved that the concrete structure will inevitably crack, and most of the concrete structure is the construction of cracks. Usually, we are concerned with the control of concrete cracks in a safe range, so that we can ensure that the building structure is safe and reliable, so as to avoid unnecessary damage loss.So it can be used to evaluate the form and characteristics of the load under the concrete crack information. Therefore, based on this characteristic, we can determine the working state and safety state of the building structure through the shape, length, width and depth of the cracks in the concrete structure. It can provide the basis for evaluating the safety of building structure and scientific and reasonable solutions. It is very important to analyze the crack of building structure scientifically and rationally, which is of great significance to the evaluation of building structure, safety monitoring, repair and reinforcement.With the continuous development of science and technology progress and detection technology, detection methods and ideas of new emerging, traditional detection methods will be more effective and efficient detection method was replaced by the new, the traditional detection method because of low detection accuracy, the detection results of subjectivity, so it is more efficient and accurate detection of new technology will gradually replace the detection the traditional method. Now with the development of computer image technology, the detection technology based on digital image is more accurate and fast.In this paper, based on the digital image processing technology for the identification of concrete surface cracks extraction process, and the characteristics of concrete crack information analysis and calculation. Through image acquisition for concrete cracks, cracks and obtain the digital image, digital image denoising, contrast enhancement, threshold segmentation, get clear image of concrete cracks.In this paper, a threshold segmentation algorithm based on two value of gray scale image is proposed, and Canny edge detection method is used to provide high resolution image for subsequent processing. After the boundary curve of concrete crack, the crack width is calculated by the method of pixel calculation. In this paper,two new methods to measure the width of cracks are discussed, which are pixel size calibration and minimum distance.Finally, this article uses the Matlab development platform, using the object-oriented programming design method, has realized the crack width characteristic measurement computer automatic processing, causes the concrete crack inspection work to become more intuitive and rapid. The digital image crack detection system combined with the image acquisition system, can realize automatic real-time processing process can improve the concrete crack detection efficiency,improve the reliability and safety of the test results. With the advantages of traditional detection methods, combined with the computer image processing technology, the advantages of digital image processing technology can be realized.The crack detection method based on digital image technology can also be used in other fields, such as national defense, aviation, aerospace, machinery manufacturing and so on.
