Communication technology has a leap-style development since the beginning of the 21st century.The development of new technologies,new materials and new technology to promote the terminal equipment toward the small,modular and intelligent development.On the one hand more and more communication standards are being formulated,terminal antennas not only to meet the requirements of 2G,3G and 4G communications bands,but also cover Bluetooth,GPS,WLAN and other communication standards.On the other hand MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output)technology requires antenna miniaturization.This paper focuses on the multi-band,miniaturization and high isolation MIMO terminal antennas.The main work includes the following aspects:1.Design of two rectangle dielectric resonator antenna with new feed structure.The first antenna use a ceramic dielectric as the radiating element which has dielectric permittivity of ?r = 37 and the antenna coupling by a bent monopole with a tuning branch.Antenna can cover GSM900/DCS/PCS/UMTS/LTE 2300/LTE2500 and 2.4GHz-WLAN bands.The size of the antenna is 25 × 15 × 4 mm3,equal to 0.075?0×0.045?0×0.012?0(?0 is the wavelength at 900MHz).On the basis of the first antenna.the second antenna further reduced the volume of the antenna First,application of a ceramic material with dielectric permittivity of ?r= 45,then according to the principle of mirror adding mental around the ceramic material.The final size of the antenna is 20×15×2mm3,equal to 0.06?0×0.045?0×0.006?0(?0 is the wavelength at 900MHz).2.Design of two MIMO terminal antennas with high isolation.The first MIMO antenna uses the single DRA antenna that has designed above by adopting the method of structure slot and parasitic scattering to improve antenna isolation ratio.Antenna isolation is greater than 15dB in the 1.7GHz-2.7GHz band.The second antenna is a compact open slot antenna feeding by a stepped strip.It can cover GSM1800/GSM1900/UMTS/LTE2300/LTE2500 and 2.4-GHz WLAN bands.The isolation is greater than 18dB in the working band by using vertical polarization method.
