Not only to ensure the vitality of LTE and its following technology,but also to meet the requirements of IMT-Advanced,3GPP completed the LTE-A standards.LTE-A is an enhanced version of LTE,which uses a new technology,and also is a new generation of mobile communications standards.IMT-Advanced requires 1Gbps upstream and 500Mbps downstream data rate respectively,and this rate requirement will be completed in the 100MHz band resources,and now the biggest challenge is to find the resources forming 100MHz frequency band in the frequency band to complete mobile communications.So RIO proposed carrier aggregation(CA)to increase bandwidth to support high data rates,and carrier aggregation technology has become the most important technology in LTE-A system.The introduction of carrier aggregation technology has changed the wireless resource management architecture that enables wireless resource scheduling becomes more complex,so the wireless resource allocation and scheduling in LTE-A system has become an important research topic.This paper briefly describes the existing LTE system-level dynamic simulation platform in my laboratory,and introduces a whole simulation process,elaborats contact function in the various modules of the platform and their relationships.This study focuses on an important position and role my researching module plays in the simulation system modules.Introduce several LTE-A key technologies,including carrier aggregation technology this article studies.It also describes the overall process of the downlink scheduling module,including three major modules:scheduling inspection,time domain scheduling and frequency domain scheduling.This paper focuses on the carrier aggregation technology,and the success of this study will be putting this key technology into the LTE dynamic simulation platform,erecting a new LTE-A carrier aggregation system-level dynamic simulation platform,and finishing the inter-band non-contiguous carrier aggregation and deployment scenarios.The main content of this paper will focus on the downlink radio resource scheduling,including changing the radio resource management infrastructure,increasing the carrier aggregation unique scheduling and joint operation of two independent scheduling method to achieve the three classical component carrier(CC)selection strategy,to achieve a good simulation platform compatibility.Comparison with the original LTE platform,improving the system overall performances including throughput,fairness,but also prove the rationality of carrier aggregation technology.Another focus of this study is a further research on carrier aggregation on the downlink radio resource allocation and scheduling after a successful carrier aggregation adding,and the system performance is further improved.After research and analysis,a novel CC management strategies based on classic carrier aggregation scheduling algorithm is proposed based on channel quality and user fairness and improved management of PDCCH,added two throughput update algorithm in the joint scheduling,and added these new algorithms into platform successful.After emulation contrast,proved the feasibility of the algorithm,and can be clearly seen that the new algorithm improves the overall good performance of the system.
