Research On Application Of Data Mining Technology In Product Configuration

In the high-speed development of the society,the quirements on product configuration becomes strong.Since the lack of configuration flexibility in traditional configuration technology,the speed and quality of configuration can not meet the needs of users.With the improvement of user demand,database technology is also growing,data mining technology has achieved some results in the practical application,a new method is proposed in this paper,using data mining technology to support product configuration system could be a good way to make up for the shortcomings of the traditional configuration.With this kind of product configuration assistant system,users can dig out the flexible configuration rules,and then combine the existing knowledge of the enterprise to complete the product configuration,then evaluate the results of the product configuration finally.The system designed in this paper consists of three subsystems:the subsystems for mining rules of productstructure configuration,the subsystems for mining rules of product materials configuration and the subsystems for evaluating results of product configuration.The data mining model of each subsystem is designed according to the application requirements of the enterprise.The improved association rules algorithm is used to implement the product configuration rules.The new design of decision rules based on rough set algorithm to achieve the product configuration rules mining,and finally the application of the gray relational degree algorithm to achieve the evaluation of product configuration.These three subsystems are independent of each other,and the users call the data mining activities which is needed.Diging out the corresponding flexible configuration rules in each rule mining subsystem,then combining the rules and existing domain knowledge in the system to flexible the configuration of products In the evaluation subsystem,the configuration results are evaluated accurately,and the optimal configuration is selected and prepare the final configuration list.
