Image as an efficient form of information that has been widely used in people's daily work and life.Image quality and visual effects determine how much information people can read from the image.Image enhancement technology is a important way to improve image quality which can improve the visual effects or other indicators of the image to make it more suitable for human eye observation or computer deal with by adapting some of the information and suppressing some information in the image.The traditional image enhancement algorithm can not take into account the brightness adjustment,the contrast enhancement and the complexity of the algorithm in dealing with the image.Aiming at this problem,a image contrast enhancement algorithm based on human visual perception is proposed from the visual perception characteristics of human eye.Firstly,the image is divided according to the human eye brightness masking feature.Then,based on the nonlinear brightness mapping model,the different regions of the image are adjusted in different scales.Finally,the different regions of the brightness adjustment are combined into the new image.The experimental results show that the method can effectively enhance the contrast of the low-light image and improve the visual effect of the image. |
